The environment

For some time now, Decomo has been making considerable efforts to improve the impact of the company’s works on the local vicinity and the environment in general. One example has been the installation of a water purification plant in the finishing halls. The waste water is decanted and neutralised with 60% being recycled.. Rainwater is also collected and used as clean water. This means that no mains water is used in the finishing halls and only clear and clean water is drained away. Any sediment collected during the purification process is compacted and disposed of by a specialist company.

Other waste materials, including: iron, stainless steel, concrete residue, wood, paper, polystyrene, packaging, chemical residues, are separated throughout the production process ready for collection by specialist recycling companies.
