Inlay materials
|
|
1. Inlay of bricks
Brick slips are placed in the mould and cast / bonded into the backing concrete.
2. Inlay of natural stone
Stone slabs are placed in the mould and cast into the backing component. The stone is always anchored to ensure permanent attachment and a de-bonding membrane is introduced between the stone and the backing concrete.
3. Inlay of brick and natural stone
Both inlay materials can be combined in a single element (as indeed can other combinations of material)
4. Inlay of ceramic material
Ceramic tiles are placed in the mould and cast into the backing concrete. Bonding is achieved by providing a roughened or profiled back to the tiles.
